Description: Our client, is a well recognized authority on local Hispanic social service issues, Plans are underway to expand the current social services portfolio. This is an outstanding opportunity for a visionary leader to take charge of the development and execution of the strategic initiatives necessary to support the agency's ambitious growth plans, as it transitions from a small to mid-sized agency. Duties and Responsibilities: ¨Functions as CEO, manages 5 direct reports, and is accountable to the Board of Directors. ¨Partners with the Board of Directors. Communicates regularly with the Board. Helps the Board set priorities ¨Supervises all day-to-day activities of the agency, including Fundraising, Grant Requests and Fulfillment, Board Management, Media Relations and PR, Programming, Community Outreach, Data Collection, Statistics, Analysis of programs and Outcomes Compliance ¨Sets the direction for all fund-raising and capital campaign activities. Actively pursues new funding sources. |
Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree, Masters preferred, with a major in Social Sciences, Management, Business Administration or related field. * Minimum of five years experience in management, five years of resource development. Minimum three years in a Nonprofit. * Proven Track record running a $1- $5 million dollar agency * Candidate must possess strong leadership skills, as well as, strong interpersonal, administrative and communication skills. * Must be fluent in English and Spanish and bi-cultural.
