Description: Coordinate with the Parent Involvment Coordinator and Center Directors in the planning, imlementation and facilitation of parent participation activities; Complete all necessary in-kind documentation on the participation of the parents in the centers on a monthly basis; Maintain and update a manual for parent participation in the program; Assist in actual workshops and translate as needed for presenters; Assist in community liaison to recruit parents educators and referral agencies; Attend parent meetings; Assist with enrollment/in-take; Participate in Training Programs offered both off and on-site; Attend regular staff meetings; Work in a team of professionals in serving the Head Start families including the Head Start Director, Head Start teachers and staff; Perform additional duties assigned by management. |
Requirements: Minimum BA in related field; Minimum of two years work experience in a family service program; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural team; Caring, compassionate approach to working with children and families; Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
