Description: U.S.-based, high-volume metals manufacturing client needs a Maintenance Engineering Manager for their brand new state-of-the-art facility in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, 65 miles south of Tucson. Full responsibility for the Maintenance Department and supervision of one Industrial Engineer. This position reports to the Director of Operations. Requirements: * Must have Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical. * Experience must include working within a formal preventive maintenance system in a team oriented metal forming manufacturing environment. * Must have good mechanical skills in trouble shooting pneumatic and PLCs. * Experience with Kaizen, Kanban or Continuous Improvement. * Must be a self-starter with high level of motivation for goal achievement. * Must be "safety first" in all plant activities. * Bilingual English/Spanish at 70% minimum either language. * Definite assets are experience in tube bending or plating environments. * WORK AUTHORIZATION: Existing work authorization required |
