We are seeking a talented individual to work in our expanding Human Resources Practice in Mexico City, Mexico. In this role, you will perform broad-based Human Resources management for the Hewitt Latin America Region with specific emphasis on training/development, compensation, and staffing at both a strategic and tactical level. A key component of this role involves developing Human Resources strategy for the region consistent with the Latin America region business strategies, and firmwide HR strategies. You will be involved in designing,implementing, and communicating HR programs and systems that support these strategies. These programs and systems include coordinating the staffing and selection efforts, assessing HR development needs and solutions, advising on Compensation strategy, introducing performance management systems, and developing regional HR policies and procedures. Establishing and overseeing the HR budget for these programs and systems is also an important element of this role. Location: This role is based in Mexico City, relocation assistance is available.
Requirements: Excellent understanding of Latin American culture and business environment. Requirements:
- A University Degree
- Five years minimum experience in either multi-national consulting or corporate human resources functions
- Excellent understanding of Latin American culture and business environment
- Outstanding language skills including English and Spanish, some Portuguese helpful but not required
- Good understanding of joint-venture relationships with experience in integrating acquired organizations is a plus
- Strong project management, communication, presentation, and people skills
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
