Description: SALES CONSULTANT Global car rental company seeks a seasoned sales professional to expand our business within the Latin American market. We are looking for an individual who can achieve results and represent a leading service oriented car rental system. In this key role of Country Representative you will be directly responsible for strategically identifying and developing new business for the U.S. to include retail, tour and corporate segments, as well as developing new partnerships opportunities (e.g., airlines, hotels and credit cards) that will generate inbound travel to the U.S. Your focus will be to promote awareness and generate new business for both local corporate and licensee operations by participating in local trade shows, conferences and BTA events. Utilizing your expertise in the development of multi-national bids and proposals for corporations, travel agents and tour operators you will assist members of the sales team in their new business endeavors. The ability to provide outstanding customer service to established local clientele is key. This position is commission based and provides an incredible opportunity for the right person. |
Requirements: Drive, ambition and motivation will be the keys to your success, in addition you will possess: - Bachelor's degree in business or international studies - Three-five years' proven sales experience, preferably in the travel industry - Excellent bilingual (English/Spanish) skills, verbal and written - Strong knowledge of the Latin American market - Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office and Outlook - Candidates will presently hold no affiliations with rental car or grounds transportation companies - Representation of other product lines is a plus. The selected candidate must possess appropriate office location, adequate staff, and telephone equipment, including Internet access, to support business objectives. |
