Description: Controller (Hospital) Our client, one of the largest hospital companies in the U.S. is seeking a Controller for one of its facilities in South Texas. This position will report directly to the CFO of the facility. The Controller will have approximately 7 direct reports, and the company will relocate the successful candidate, if required. Major responsibilities include (but are not limited to): A) Management of day- to-day financial operations B) Oversight responsibility of accounting, the business office, medical records, admitting, purchasing and payroll C) Preparation of the financial package on a monthly basis |
Requirements: A) At least 3 years of financial management experience at either an acute care or medical surgical hospital B) Supervisory/managerial experience C) Knowledge of PC based software including spreadsheet and word processing programs D) Strong analytical and critical thinking skills E) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field F) Excellent written and oral communication skills Preferred: Fluency in Spanish Compensation for this position is $65K - $70K + Bonus.
